I cooked this is the rice cooker, I have never made a ready meal in the rice cooker so I wasn’t really sure it would turn out very well. It took longer than 10 minutes to cook but when it was fully cooked I was loving the way it looked and the inclusion of the black beans throughout it. I added some tomatoes, avocado, hot sauce, tajin seasoning and a squeeze of lime and this was a nice (but smallish) meal for two. It was very mild but I appreciate that is so it will appeal to a larger audience. I loved how convenient this was to make, I would have given it a higher score if it was spicier or more flavoursome but I was able to easily add more flavour to suit my tastes.
